Is it all right to plug the charger into the power supply?
Harm of not pulling out the charger for a long time:
1. shorten the life of the charger.
Because the charger is composed of electronic components, it is easy to cause heat when the charger is plugged into the socket for a long time, which will cause aging of the original parts and even short circuit, thus greatly shortening the service life of the charger.
2. Power consumption.
After charging, the charger is always plugged into the socket. Although the mobile phone is not charged, the circuit board inside the charger is still in normal working condition, which will consume power. According to research data, a certain brand charger has not pulled out, and consumes about 1.5 kWh of electricity every year.
3. There are potential safety hazards.
For some mobile phone chargers with low intelligence or substandard quality, too long charging time may overheat the mobile phone, and then cause the mobile phone to burn or explode. At the same time, too long charging time may also increase the possibility of short circuit at the charger output. Once the output end of the charger is short-circuited, the current at its input end will increase sharply, which will lead to the burning or explosion of the charger.
Remember to unplug the charger after charging, and do the following three things for your own safety:
1. Don't charge in too cold or too hot environment.
2. Do not charge near pillows and sheets.
3. Do not use the damaged charging cable.
Many patch panels have a switch on each socket. When charging the mobile phone, the charger is connected to the switch patch panel. After charging, directly turn off the corresponding switch on the patch panel without unplugging the charger, which is not only simple and convenient, but also harmless.
